BIO

Chrysoula Gelasaki (b. 2003, Chania, Greece) is a visual artist based in Athens and Paris.
Her practice spans painting, installation, sound, video, and digital graphics, exploring how the human, primarily female, body interacts with diverse environments and how these relationships reflect memory, heritage, and collective rituals.

After completing two years of Fashion Management at the Institut Français de la Mode (2021–2023), she transferred to The New School Parsons Paris, where she is now in her final year of the BFA Art, Media and Technology program with a minor in Creative Entrepreneurship.

Gelasaki’s work has been shown in student exhibitions at Parsons Paris, during her exchange-semester exhibition at the University of the Arts London (UAL), and in international group exhibitions with The Holy Art, Athens. She participated in the Do Your Part charity exhibition (2020–21) supporting the Greek nonprofit Mazi Gia to Paidi, and collaborated on the Parfois Blanche philanthropic project (2021).

She has recently graduated and is currently developing her pop-up atelier in the heart of Athens, at 12 Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. She is working toward the opening of her atelier and the presentation of her first solo exhibition, planned for the beginning of December.

Her current practice explores food in art and the table as a space of heritage, gathering, and interaction, combining painting, installation, sound, and participatory elements.
